Kayna Wins InsurPitchDublin 2026
Following an outstanding showcase of exceptional InsurTech innovation at InsurPitchDublin 2026 on 21st May, Kayna was honoured to be awarded a Win. We are very proud that for the first time in InsurPitch history, there were TWO winners on the night which, in its own right speaks volumes for the strength, energy and innovation within the Insurtech scene. Congratulations to Miss Moneypenny Technologies and Anna Bojic.
Five insurtechs: Kayna, Miss Moneypenny, Blink Parametric, Inaza and SettleIndex. Five minutes each. A room full of P&C leaders and a panel of adjudicators.
Kayna Co-founder and CEO Paul Prendergast set out how "Insurance distribution is being rewritten inside vertical SaaS and AI agents. Embedded is the new front door — and carriers keep their underwriting authority while the distribution footprint scales." The signal: embedded insurance inside vertical SaaS is where the market is moving. Carriers keep underwriting. Platforms keep the customer. AI keeps the interface.
Co-founded with Peter Bermingham in 2021, Kayna enables business software (VSaaS) platforms to seamlessly integrate insurance using advanced AI policy analysis, helping SMEs identify coverage gaps and reduce risk exposure. For small business owners who are too busy running their companies to check if they have the right insurance - Kayna does the heavy lifting by integrating insurance directly into the platforms those business owners already rely on, to deliver tailored coverage in the flow of everyday work.
Thanks to Guidewire Software, PwC and Shannon Spies, Tony Chang, Laura Drabik, Tony Cronin and Eric Apse for the opportunity to participate in this outstanding InsurTech Vanguards Program.
Thanks to the judges for their engagement and consideration: Jamie Heaslip, Gary Leyden, Enda Kyne, Ray Kelly, Imran Ilyas and Tony Cronin....and as always, sincere thanks to the Kayna team for their hard work and commitment as we continue to scale new heights. We're already looking forward to what happens next — representing Ireland and Europe at Guidewire Connections in Las Vegas in October.
